First Podcast
It had to happen, sooner or later! I had to try my hand at putting together a podcast; so here it is. It’s only about 12 minutes long featuring some great tunes.
Tip: If you click on the ‘play in pop-up’ you can listen to my broadcast without interruption while perusing previous posts.

Absolutely love the podcast, little rant, little roll. Perfect mix. Keep it coming…
Thanks Kim,
I’ll do my best to keep them coming.
John,
So nice to sit in downtown Montreal and hear your voice and find out what’s going on in Dawson.
Keep that pot stirred up real good!
Thanks Jenny, I’ve found another way to stir things up! With just cause of course!
Hi John,
Jen emailed me from McGill today to tell me about your new podcast. Congrats, it sounds great! Also heard you with Shelagh R. on CBC last week. It certainly brought back memories of my (and Jen’s) experiences travelling the Dempster years ago. All the best.
Don, Thanks for your encouraging comments. I’m hoping that the Dempster makes it on to the Seven Wonders of Canada list that Shelagh Rogers is working
on. It was pretty decent of them to call and ask to make my pitch last week.
Begging your pardon, your worship, but don’t you mean the “Joe Henry Highway”?
Duncan Spriggs for Mayor!
(sorry John, I couldn’t resist)
Fantastic podcast, real community contribution John. stan
Thanks Stan!
Mr. Mayor!
It’s great to be able to listen to you and hear from Dawson back home here in Sweden. Keep up the good work!
All my best,
John Sandstrom

Hi John!
Thanks for your encouragement. It was a pleasure having you as a part of our arts community this winter, I’m only sorry I couldn’t have visited with you and Owen more during that time. Hopefully you’ll return to Dodge someday soon.
Cheers,
John
Dear John,
I’ve been enjoying your Mayor’s Blog for awhile; I was totally unprepared for the pleasure of listening to your first podcast – what fun to read bits and pieces about Dawson and listen to you and your music choices at the same time! Bravo!
As Kim wrote at the top – “little rant, little roll: perfect mix”!
You bought me a smile this Saturday afternoon – thanks so much!
Thanks Mimi,
I appreciate that!
John
