Unfortunately your point is well taken.  I was receently reading a bikers&#039;s Journal re travelling the Dempster and came upon a situation he encountered at the Tombstone campground that as a former Yukoner really upset me.  Please check out the story and pictures on page 23.

I found it hard to believe that under the circumstances they would turn away any biker in that area at that time of day.  I worked on the Dempster in 1959 and 60 and therefore know what risk the individual was taking.  

Also, I enjoy your posts and wish you the best in the coming year.  I usually get back to visit the Dawson area every four to five yrs and will drop by for a chat if I get there again.</description>
