The Victor Jory story that the folks at CBC Whitehorse have been working on will be featured on the national radio show The Current tomorrow morning (Thursday May 3).
The television version which is to air on the National News at some point will be seen on Northbeat, also on Thursday.

That was a terrific little piece, John. Sure was nice to hear you and Dave King. I am hoping that a few of my acquaintances down here were listening – it’ll add some credence to my stories about Dawson!

Dave made it sound like it was my initiative when in fact he and Al Foster and Whitehorse CBC did all the work and a great job at that. There were a few minor grumblings in town about the Mayor going to Hollywood on a trip reminicent of ‘junkets’ by previous Mayors. This was all work and not much play, albeit enjoyable work. And now I hope it will pay some dividends.
Now we need a podcast of that item. I had to be in Whitehorse at F.H. Collins High School that morning and so missed it.
Good idea, I have it saved so I’ll ask Dave King for permission.
