Victor Jory Radio Doc

May 7, 2007

Here’s the documentary as put together by Dave King and aired nationally on CBC radio “The Current” last week (May, 2007). It’s about twenty minutes long so open the player in the pop up mode so you can look at other posts without interruption.

Good piece, John. Odd that they wanted to make it look as if it was all your idea in the first place. That is how it will be recorded in CBC history.

Right, it was really Dave King’s initiative but I guess it was a better story to have the Mayor pursuing this lost son of Dawson.

I was aware of Victor Jory. I did not know that he was born in Dawson City. He was a favorite actor of mine – the consummate villain. He was an excellent actor and had a distinctive voice – one in a million. I enjoyed the documentary.
